The Old and the Bold

On Campaign

Correspondence from the men serving overseas regularly made it “into print” as the editors of local newspapers and some journals were only too happy to publish their letters home for an audience eager to read details of the campaigning being undertaken in far off foreign fields.

The links from this page are intended to provide an overview of the East African campaign and the activities of the 25th Battalion Royal Fusiliers (Frontiersmen) through the letters home of the men who were there.
